- Artist – Album: Barenaked Ladies – Stunt
I wasn’t one of those people that knew about Barenaked Ladies from when they released Stunt. I’m way more hipster than that. I knew them before it was cool. In fact, I knew them before it was cool to say “I knew them before it was cool.” I got to see them play my high school Christmas assembly. I remember turning to a friend and saying “Is this supposed to be good?” To his credit, he said “Yes.” And now they’re going into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. HALL OF FAME.
I congratulate them on their success, without admitting any error in judgment or change of opinion on my part, because I’m never wrong. I’m very gracious in vindication of my evaluation. You’re welcome.
